Is There Any Doctor Available To Analyse This Report?
Hi, my son is 5 years old and they made an echo 2D because of a heart murmur. The cardiologist said that he had a mild mitral regurgitation and he expects that to go away in a year or two. I haven't find anything on the web about outgrowing mild mitral regurgitation. Is that possible to happen and why?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The regurgitation appears to be physiological, and the regurgitation in children may be congenital and so long there is any problem like breathlessness, there will be no problem. It may also be due to the anemia, and it is to be corrected. Some people will have it for life with out any problem. Give him nutritious food, like green leafy vegetables, and protein rich foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
