I got a blood chemistry test, and everything was fine except for the AST and Alt. what does that mean when other ones look fine? could this be a flase positive reading becuase the blood sample was sent to a laboratory that is 8 hours far from the test place! Thank you

dear sir ,I can understand your concern.Proper handling is very important in sending samples to far away places.By freezing and separating plasma from RBC and also by adding some stabilizing agents it's possible to send samples to far way places.however kindly let me know your result I can assist you better.regards
