Is There Any Home Remedy For Swelling In Back Bottom Molars?

I have swelling, like a balloon, by one of my back bottom molars. About two weeks. It doesn't hurt, it doesn't look or smell weird, but it's swollen. I've been flossing regularly and using mouthwash. Is there any other home remedy I can use before going to a dentist?

Hello,

Cause for swelling in back bottom molars has to be evaluated and treated.

Antibiotics such as amoxycillin as well as analgesics has to be administered to relieve underlying infection.

I would advice you to visit a dentist and get a thorough clinical as well as x-ray evaluation done.

Decayed tooth has to be either root canal treated or extracted.

Pus has to be drained and curretted completely.

Hope this helps.
