Firstly, ACE inhibitors- and not Beta-Blockers- cause
cough. You can therefore take ARBs (
Angiotensin Receptor Blockers), such as, Temlisartan or
Olmesartan, which do not cause cough. ARBs + Beta Blockers is an ideal combination and should be taken with at least 2 hours' gap between the two.
However, you may first try to keep a gap of 2-3 hours between
Norvasc and
Hydrodiuril. If the symptoms persist, you should switch over to ARBs + Beta-blockers.
I assure you that the symptoms will disappear, if drugs are taken as advised.
