hello hemorrhoid may be external or internal the exact cause is although unknown , a number of factors play a significant role which includes irregular bowel habbits (constipation and diarrhea ) , lack of exercise , nutritional factors (low fibre diet ),obesity etc etc conservative management includes 1.food rich in dietery fibres ...you should also avoid food like noodles etc 2.uptake of oral fluids to maintain hydration 3.NSAIDs if that helps than okay or else you need to go for surgery best of luck
Hello carrie;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
If you have bleeding haemorrhoids then you can take medicines to stop the blood and if you have pain in haemorrhoids then a pain killer will help reduce the pain and swelling .So please get the medicines prescribed by a doctor it will help.The main goal of treatment in haemorrhoids is to reduce the pain ;swelling and bleeding but it is very important that you don't have to strain during stools as that puts pressure on the vein and you may get increased bleeding or pain in the haemorrhoids so you have to take diet rich in fibers which will help to make stools softer and easy to pass through with minimal strain.So concentrate more on the diet part and eat more vegies;fruits and drink lots of water and you will feel better.
Thanks
