PLEASE DOCTOR I WANT YOU TO ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO. THE WOMAN I WANT TO MARRY HAS Thalassemia CAN I STILL MARRY HER? IS THERE ANY RISK INVOLVED? AND IF ANY, WHAT COULD THEY BE?

Hi,thanks for query.Please get your thalasemia status checked.In case of both of you having thalasemia minor or one of you having thalasemia major,you must not marry.The off spring then can have thalesemia major which is a problem.please see for it.bye.
