Is There Any Similar Medicament For Invega?
Is there a med available in a Generic form (for insurance and financial purposes) that is similar to invega that can help a patient diagnosed with Wernicke s encephalopathy? My brother takes invega 3MG and Seroquel, which we get in a generic. Healthcare changes has made us suddenly responsible for paying $400 per month for the Invega. Any suggestions?

Your concern is very right, the cost of the drug should always be born in mind when prescribing drugs, especially if for long times.
Invega is a newer anti-psychotic, used for schizophrenia. There are a number of other drugs in the same class that may work as well. These include quetiapine, olanzapine, etc. You may talk to your doctor and show your concern.

Paliperidone (invega) is a recently approved agent that is a metabolite of risperidone and shares many of its properties. Second-generation Antipsychotics like Risperidone or Iloperidone are alternatives.
