Is There Any Thing I Can Do To Avoid A Heart Attack?

My fiancee cannot take any statins-he has 5 stents already - he works out hard daily-he is avoiding most animal proteins (a little chicken and a fish weekly)-and he is taking metamucil 3 times daily(which has lowered his cholesterol somewhat) - he is taking aspirin, effient and welbutrin daily and he is under the care of one of the top cardiologists at Cedars Sinai here in LA -is there any thing else we can do to avoid more stents and or a heart attack ?

Respected Madam
Thanks for writing to us.
To prevent a heart attack we should avoid smoking and any kind of psychological stress. We must control our diabetes and high blood pressure well. We should take all our drugs on time. Maintain ideal body weight and do exercise as prescribed. Cholesterol should be kept in limits and avoid fatty fried food & excess of carbohydrates and sweets. Do avoid all kind of stress.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
