Is There Any Treatment Option For Disc Replacement Other Than Surgery And How Much Does The Surgery Costs?

A few years ago i had severe worsening headaches in pain and frequency that my doctor ordered an MRI as per my MRI I have in C2-C3 left facet degeneration & no stenosis. C3-C4 Mild right uncovertable joint degeneration. C4-C5 moderate left paracentral disc herniation 3.3mm AP & width 10mm at base, increased size, left facet joint degeneration caused severe narrowing left neural foramen. C5-C6 small posterior central disc herniation effacing anterior subarachnoid space but no cord compromise, uncovertable joint degeneration worse right causes moderate foraminal narrowing. C6-C7 large central disc herniation 6mm in AP width base 14mm(prior MRI was 5x13mm), causes moderate compression of cervical cord with sagittal fat saturated T2 sequence & mild increased signal in cervical cord at this level, uncovertable joint degeneration, moderate foraminal narrowing on right and severe on left. C7-T1 Prior fusion & no stenosis. T1-T2 small posterior left paracentral disc herniation that abuts and minimally flattens left anterior aspect of thoracic cord with no cord compromise. The pain is better but I do have bad flare ups & I have frequent physio. I am 54 yrs old not overweight, don t drink or smoke and have always been active until the past few years. I have atrial fib attimes and am currently being treated with digoxin 0.125 mg od and rhythmol bid. I now have to avoid any jarring activity, hyperextension and too much hyperflexion as these activities increase my pain. I also can no longer lift. I would like to know if there is any treatment ie) laser or stem cell or surgical procedure ie) disc replacement that is an option for me that would result in increased quality of life for me ie|) less pain and allow me to live a more active lifestyle like I did a few years ago? Where is the best facility for this? Apprx. what would the cost be for either consultation, treatment or surgery? I live in Canada so would be paying out of pocket.

Okay,
Firstly, nice work on the MRI report.
Looks like you have a condition called Prolapse of Intervertebral discs of the Cervical Spine. Now,have you undergone any mean of physiotherapy eg ; tractions, IFT or UST ?
Assuming you did, if the pain has increased now and there are also symptoms of dizziness and nausea, you would require spinal fixation and Micro-discectomy.
Procedures such as these would cost a fortune in Canada. In India you would get great health care at a price of around 8000-9000 Canadian dollars.
Good Luck!
