Is There Anything To Worry After Having Bleeding After First Time Sex?

I lost my virginity today. My hymen is broken I m pretty sure, and part of it is blueish purple, but it doesn t really hurt much. There was bleeding post intercourse… I m a bit worried, is this bad? Im going to see an OBGYN soon pertaining to birth control, should I talk to him/her about this?

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM
See there is nothing to really worry about it
Hymen is an vestigial organ that has blood vessels . Once you have intercourse for the first time , this ruptures and there is slight bleeding and there is nothing to worry . You can tell your gynecologist regarding it
And of course your gynecologist will tell you about the suitable methods of birth control
Hope you are satisfied
Take care
