Is There Chances For Pregnancy Even If Having Proper Periods?
I have a baby of 4 month. My last period date was 19.04.2014 & already 3 days have over for my normal menstruation cycle.Am I going to be pregnant or anything else? After child birth I am using withdrawal & safe period as a contraceptive process. It is noted that 15 days ago for treatment of mastitis I have to had 28 flucloxacillin capsule for 7 days.I want to also mention date before my 1st pregnancy my cycle was regular.
Withdrawl is used as a contraceptive method but needs a lot of control and so failure rate is high. Also immediately after delivery, the ovulation is irregular and so safe period may not always be counted properly.
Having said that irregular periods are also not uncommon during this phase. So as of now, just wait for 7 days and if still there are no periods, get a urine test done. If it is negative then most likely it is a delayed period in the post partum phase and you just need to wait for a few more days.
I also recommend that you use another better method like injection shots, IUD or barrier as contraceptive methods.
