Is There Chances Of Infection After Operation?

hello. I had a dimple creation surgery done, and I don't want to take the amoxicillin, so I am holding it off... if infections occure later on, can I take it then and would it work? Also if infections were to occur, how long after surgery does it usually start showing and what would be the symptoms? Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain as you have got Dimple Creation Surgery done or you get any other surgical procedures done you are given an antibiotic cover to prevent infection at the surgical site..

In case if you do not take the antibiotics you become more prone to get infected..
Even if you get infected the healing will take a longer time to occur even after taking antibiotics..

I would therefore suggest you to take the antibiotic amoxicillin as advised to you by your surgeon and also follow the post operative instructions genuinely to prevent complications..
