Is Traveling To Low Oxygen Level Area Restricted Post Trabeculectomy ?
I ve recently had Trabeculectomy with cataract replacement surgery in both eyes. In December I want to travel from sea level to a city where I have spent at least three months every year in the winter for many years. The city is 5,102 feet (1,555 meters). My doctor is advising me not to go because of possible low oxygen levels. Have you any thoughts on the subject?
Yes I also advise you for not go to at high altitude. It may have adverse effects on your health. Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". For Follow up questions, end with "If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health".
