Is Ultrasound Showing Shadow In Baby S Heart With Recommended Test For Down Syndrome Serious?
Im 14 weeks and 5 days yesterday they did an ultrasound n they called me today telling me that they were gonna do a 4d ultrasound because tgry saw a shadow on my baby s heart... N they offered to do a test for down syndrome . . Should I worry I have been in tears....

You shouldn't worry.First diagnosis should be confirmed.
Down syndrome screening is normally done in elderly women and in many other conditions.
At present if there is problem during routine antenatal USG ,i advise you to go for fetal echocardiography.It can detect heart problems in the fetus.
