Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. As I'm unable to examine you directly, thus taking into consideration your case history and symptoms, I'm of the following opinion:
i. As the pain is on the right side, thus the most common causes are biliary colic [gall stones], hepatitis, cholecystitis,
acute appendicitis, so seek immediate medical assistance or
general surgeon opinion and ask for
ultrasonography of HBR [hepatobiliary region] for
Amoebic liver abscess and Cholecystitis.
PS. other possibilities which can be excluded at the time of examination are an inflammatory bowel disorder, also people with chronic gallbladder issue may have digestive problems like acid reflux, diarrhea, abdominal pain, belching which can mimic features of IBS, so to know if anyone of them is the root cause kindly
consult a Gastroenterologist for necessary examination and relevant investigation.
ii. Although most of the times, pain may be the result of minor injury or postural changes, however sometimes there may be an underlying medical condition/situation which needs appropriate treatment.
