Is Using Maxidex Eye Drops After 30 Days Of Opening Advisable?
Can i use the maxidex 0.1% eyedrops after 30 days of opening? i am 82 yrs old just had the eyes cataract surgery for 1 month, but still need to put the drops 1 time daily for another 10 days. I still have the drops left in the bottle, is it harmful to finish it after 30 days of opening the eyedrops? grateful if you can answer me.

Hi,
If the drops from bottle of Maxidex may be contaminated (when it turns dark in colour) and cause infection instead of healing it is used for. So it is better to throw out the bottle and use a fresh one now.
