Is Vaccination Necessary For A Dog Bite?

Hi doc! My dog accidentally scratched me on my arm. It bleeds but not severe. The blood that came out is less than a drop. I immediately washed it with water and soap. My dog dont have any vaccine shots. Do i need to go to the hospital to have me vaccinated? Thanks

Hi

It is better to start the vaccine. Take 0,3,7day dose and observing the dog for 10 days. If it is fine during the period of observation then you may not need any further treatment.
