Is It Safe To Give Painful Vaccination To A Child Usually Administered With Painless Vaccines?

My son first painful vaccination then we switched to painless vaccination as per the suggestion of the doctor. Now we are at a place where painless vaccination is not available can we again go for painful vaccination. Is there any harm or difference in again going for painful vaccination.
