Is Vaginal Spotting While On Duphaston A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor, I got a spotting 7 days before my regular menstruation. I am expecting to have my period 7th of this month, but started getting small amounts of brown spots 30th of June. Last July 5th the spot becomes bigger and blood is red, till the 6th. 7th of this month the blood is more than the usual spot Im getting from the previous days. I saw my Dr and prescribed Duphaston. I had more blood yesterday after taking the med, but today 3rd of taking the meds my menstruation stopped. Am I pregnant? Thank you!
Slight spotting and menstrual irregularities are common with hormonal pills like Duphaston. Nothing much to worry and no treatment is required. It is not a sign of pregnancy also. You can simply go for a urine pregnancy test (UPT) to check whether you are pregnant or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
