Is Wearing Lenses Causes White Bump On The Iris Of My Eyeball?
Hi Dr. John, I have a little white bump on the iris portion of my eyeball...I received contacts yesterday after not previously wearing them for several years... I am suspecting that it is caused by the lenses...I have a history of styes forming on the lids of my eyes from time to time, but never on my eyeball...I am grateful for any advice or knowledge you can share...thanks
Prolong use of contact lens can cause dry eye. Every day contact lens should be removed at bed time. At present if sty is present , it is to be examined and proper treatment to be given. If developing problem in cornea, then artificial tear drop is to be used.
