Itchiness Around Wrists, Moving To Palms Of Hands, Lumps On Ankles And Feet. Causes?
hi about 5 days ago, i started to get quite itchy around my wrists then it went on to the palms of my hands. There were lumps that used to come and then disappear in the same area. it then went on to my ankles and the tops of my feet , and again the lumps came and went. it has now gone also to the soles of my feet, it is driving me insane. any suggestions would be appreciated
Hello user, As per your clinical history, most probably the disease you are suffering from scabies infestation !! The scabies is caused by itch mite, which makes small burrows on skin of wrist and ankle joint areas, causing SEVERE itching, and irritation in these areas, and also causes allergic bumps after few days.
You are kindly advised to get yourself examined your lesions from a nearby General Physician. As far as treatment is concerned, the disease is easily treatable by once or twice application of permithrin solution or benzene hexachloride lotion, and strict cleanliness of cloths.
hope my info helped you regards, Dr Hari Om Chandrakar MBBS
