Itchiness With Red Rashes In Vagina Due To Using Pads After Surgical Abortion. Possible Infection?
I had a surgical abortion and after i was told to use pads for 2 weeks, i rarely ever use pads because I always use tampons. I bought a cheap kotex maxi pads and wore them, after i started getting itchy and I got a rash and now it's worse, is it the pad? Maybe an infection due to the actual abortion, or just somethingg else? Its red itchy with a rash.

Welcome to HCM.
You are suffering from rashes due to contact irritation because of the pads. I suggest you keep the area clean and dry. The areas around the genitalia are prone to fungal infection as they are moist and facilitate growth of fungi. Application of an antifungal cream over the sore areas will help. Tab Atarax 25 mg twice daily for two days can be taken for the itching.
These rashes are not due to the abortus.
