Hi dear,
It seems like there is Scabies in the house.I would strongly suggest to start applying 1: Permethrin 5% cream/lotion after a shower in the night below the neck region down to the toe,not leaving any area of the body in between,an leave it overnight. One thing to remember here is to repeat the application again after a week as the itch would not be relieved soon after the application.
2: Calamine lotion, should be applied two to three times a day only on the affected areas,it's a soothing lotion and can be continued till you need.
3:Tablet Zyrtec 10mg,once in the night,it's an anti inflammatory and help reduce the itch, children should be given a syrup form according to the age an weight.
I hope after trying these medications you ll feel much better, but the important thing is all the family members must apply at the same time to get rid of it completely.
Thanks very much.

Hello and welcome to HCM
The history that you have given- itching on your neck, back, abdomen and chest along with red bumps and the same problem is acquired by your baby girl and other family members.
This history suggests an infective and communicable disease.
It could be scabies, as this is a very common cause of itching. It is caused by a mite which burrows between the furrows of skin and causes intense itching.
The treatment has to be given to entire family including your baby.
Treatment consists of application of an ointment twice on whole body.
All clothings that you are using also needs to be disinfected.
Maintaining good hygiene and taking regular bath prevents scabies and many other diseases.
However, for a correct diagnosis you need to consult your doctor.

Thank you and take care

HELLO THERE.

FROM YOUR HISTORY I PRESUME THAT YOU HAVE SCABIES.

THIS IS A ITCH MITE INFECTION WHICH SPREADS BY DIRECT SKIN TO SKIN CONTACT.
SEVER ITCHING WITH SKIN RASH COMPOSED OF SMALL TINY BUMPS ARE SYMPTOMS.
ITCHING IS MOST SEVER AT NIGHT WITH RASHES PRESENT ALL OVER THE BODY BUT PREDOMINANTLY ON HEAD FACE NECK ABDOMEN PALMS AND SOLES, GENITAL AREA AND BUTTOCKS.

KINDLY CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST FOR CONFIRMATION OF INFECTION AND THE RIGHT TREATMENT WITH SCABICIDAL CREAMS.

TREATMENT OF ALL THE FAMILY MEMBER AT THE SAME TIME TOGETHER IS A MUST TO ELIMINATE INFECTION.

ALSO WITH TREATMENT WASHING OF LINENS AND BEDCLOTHES IN HOT WATER IS ESSENTIAL FOLLOWED BY SUN DRYING.

TAKE CARE.
