Itchy And Burning Scrotum. Taken Tablets And Cream For Fungal Infection. Reason?

My scrotum is very itchy and burning for 6 months. i went to a doctor, he said it is a fungal infection and gave me tablets and cream. After 2 months it has started again. there are days when the itching and burning are high and there are days when they are present. waht could be the reason for my problem? I wash that region daily and dry it daily

Hi,

Usually, fungal infections are difficult to treat; it might need more than 6 months (1 year or more) to get them treated.

Next, antifungal treatment with oral drugs and creams work find to eradicate them. Please have patience and follow the instructions of your doctor correctly;and keep on with your hygiene.
