I've Had This Blister Like Thing On The Bottom Of

I've had this blister like thing on the bottom of one of my toes for a while now. It hurts whenever I put pressure on it (walking barefooted) however when I wear socks/shoes or walk on a carpet, the pain dulls down a bit. I believe that it has a thick layer of healed skin around it, and It was peeled off once. This resulted in heavy bleeding that did not stop for at least 10-20 minutes after the skin was removed. I thought it would go away after that, but the skin just healed right back over it. Whenever I try to touch it, it stings. When the skin peeled off that one time, I examined it as closely as possible and noticed little "holes" or pricks, not sure exactly, that were the sources of the blood . I have no idea what it is, I'm not sure whether something pierced my skin, or if it is a blister, etc. (However I don't think it is a blister.) Please help me, I've had this thing for awhile and I just want to be rid of it.
