Large lump may be arised due to abscess formed either due to deep caries or due to periodontal infection.

A detailed clinical as well as x-ray evaluation is necessary to diagnose the problem associated.

I would suggest you to take augmentin tab.along with analgesics.

Pus within the lump has to be drained if possible.

Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.

If symptoms persists,biopsy of the lump will help to rule out the nature of tumor.

For how long did you have this lump ,whats the size of the lump and location of the lump ? Photographs are required for diagnosis.

Meanwhile maintain oral hygiene by brushing & flossing.

Welcome to hcm forum. It is difficult to predict or diagnose the reason of a swelling inside mouth without clinically examining it or at least observing the results of investigations. But according to your history a slow growing bony hard swelling over inside of both lower jaw, which is painless and not related to a carious tooth is most probably a kind of bony growth called Toros Mandibularis. There is nothing to worry. It's totally harmless and does not considered as a tumor. The reason is unknown. Genetic and environmental factors like grinding of tooth habit or ill fitting dentures are sometimes blamed. It can be confirmed with a occlusal radiograph of lower jaw. If it is really disturbing a surgical removal of this growth is advised. but recurrence is not uncommon.At the end, visit to a dentist for confirmatory diagnosis.
