Jaw Pain, Tightness, Cramps, Painful. Serious?

Hi, i have this pain that doesnt happen very often but when it does, it causes a some pain. It almost feels like my left side of my jaw tightens up, almost like a cramp and it runs down the left side of my pain. it will go away after a few mins but i have to massgage it until the pain goes down. is this something serious? it doesnt have often but it will happen a handful of times a month

Hi,

Based on the information provided it seem like you are having
1) Trismus (spasm of jaw)
or
2) Trigerminal neuralgia ( nerve issues)

Its better to have it checked by neurologist so that proper pain treatment is given.
