Knee Arthroscope & Menisectomy Done. Now Severe Pain. Could It Be Infection In Knee Tissue?
i recently had a right knee arthroscope & menisectomy done on the 3rd of may 13 went back to work a week ago and the last couple of days have had severe pain and the left corner of my knee had to go to doctor for stronger pain relief for him to tell me he thinks i have an infection in my knee tissue. How can that happen ?
Hi, Welcome to HCM, Many a times due to handling with soft tissues vigorously and some times due to collection of blood in surrounding area may give rise to infection. Nothing to worry with one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines you will be alright. Ok and bye,
