Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
1. Does the fracture requires any surgery to heal or else wearing a tight band on the knee overcomes the pain. The hairline fracture has healed by now. A hairline fracture shows healing as early as 6 weeks and is normal by 6 months. This is no fracture now.
2. Am I late which had worsen the area on the right knee which is irreversible. If there was any ligamentous injury and you say that its been neglected, there is possibility of it persisting even now. If the pain is severe and restricting normal movements, please consult your doctor and get MRI scan of your knee. There are many ligaments (cruciate and collateral ligaments) which may be torn.
