Lack Of Exercise After Childbirth, Irregular Food Intake, Fat In Body. Any Ayurvedic Or Homeopathic Medication To Lose Fat?

Hi,
My name is Benu Khanna. I am 30 yrs old and a mother. My baby is 15 months old and I am not getting any time to exercise... Also my eating habits have gone bad. I don't eat on time sometimes no lunch, the other times no breakfast etc. I need a way to keep my body fit and healthy.. I don't have time to go to Gym.. nor much time to exercise at home.. Plz suggest something I need to burn fat from my upper body...(back fat and arms). Is there any Homeopathic or Ayurvedic medicine to loose fat only...

Regards,

Benu

Welcome to HCM.
There are so many medicines in Ayurveda, homeopathy and even in alopathy.
But without diet and exercise management it will not work.
You have to be manage you diet pattern.Avoid oily, fatty foods.Make regular habits of diet for lunch and dinner or take frequent small diet.
Eat more fruit juices, vegetable soups and high fiber diet.
Do regular exercise (aerobics).Yoga will be helpful.
Remember this....there is no any short cut to reduce weight.
Consult a good dietitian for better planning.

hi
welcome to HCM
dear Benu ji your concern is normal
it will be good for you to know how to burn fat by different ways , some breathing exercise [ yogic] like kaaplbhati , Agnisaar kriya , bhastrika can raise BMR and reduce nice amount of weight
some kitchen herbs like fenugreek seeds are rich in chromium piconate which is a good fat burner
wish you good health

Homeopath Dr. C. J. Varghese's  Response
Hello Benu,
Even when you are not doing regular exercise and taking regular and wholesome food, you can undergo Homoeopathic treatment . You will be benefited because, the obesity about which you are concerned is mainly due to your genetic tendency to become obese. I am not minimizing the importance of both exercise and diet. Still, I would advise you to approach an expert Homoeopath at your earliest convenience.
The genetic tendencies will be manifested through your mental as well as physical reactions to your life situations. The benefits of both the other factors will be reaching you only when these genetic tendencies are corrected. Homoeopathy is fundamentally a constitutional and individualistic method of treatment. The remedies are selected holistically. They are natural remedies without any side effect.
With Best wishes,

Hi thanxs for posting your question on healthcaremagic.

Firstly don't panic. There is no short cut to weight loss in a healthy way.
Just follow some simple tips.

•Don’t skip meals. If you don’t eat, it won't help you lose weight.
•Eat 5 - 6 small meals a day with healthy snacks in between (rather than three larger meals).
•Eat breakfast. Even if you don’t normally eat in the mornings, get into the habit of having breakfast. It will give you energy to start your day and help you keep from feeling tired later.
•Choose low-fat milk and dairy products. Look for low-fat or fat-free dairy products.
•When you reach for a snack, choose fruits and vegetables. Foods like apples, oranges, berries, bananas, carrots. They are low in fat, but high in vitamins and fiber.
•Drink 8 or 9 cups of liquids a day. Limit drinks like sodas, juices and other fluids with sugar and calories..
•Choose broiled or baked rather than fried foods.
•Limit sweets, sugar and fat.

-A healthy diet combined with regular exercise is the best way to shed the flab.(you can take your baby for a stroll everyday).
- Be positive, and realistic about your goal.

hope it helped.

Regards,
Dr neha.

1. Medication alone will not help to reduce weight or burn fat, because even for medicine to work, one has to do Exercise and because physical inactivity is minimum you have to adopt minimal post natal exercise protocol to remain healthy.
2. you have to consult a Gynecologist regarding how to practice these exercises which are mentioned below
. Pelvic floor exercises: pelvic floor tensing, pelvic lift.
. Sideways Leg Raising.
. knee squeezes.
. For Abdomen: bent knee leg raising, scissor kicks, bent knee sit ups.
3.avoid sleeping after meals, take less of high calories like: sugar, ghee, oil, tea, sweets.
4. avoid prolonged fasting as it will cause increased hunger and weight gain, instead take small frequent meals.
5. avoid cold water as it slows down the metabolism and digestive fire, instead take luke warm water to drink which helps in proper assimilation of food and correcting digestive system.
6. You can consult Doctor of Alternative Medicine for medicines regarding the same, under the umbrella of exercise(s).
