Lack Of Sleep After Drinking Too Many Energy Drinks, Admitted To A Hospital. Treatment?
my friend has just been admitted to hospital. He has been there for two weeks and has now been moved to intensive care, The reason he is there is for not sleeping and drinking too many energy drinks. I dont understand what has happened, please can you explain? no one is aloud to see him or talk to him, and there is only so much a doctor tells you before you switch off and do not hear what they are saying or understand what they are saying because you don t want it to be true..
Hi!
I am firstly sorry to hear about your friend. Energy drinks contain caffeine in large amount. Even though occasional use of these energy drinks is ok, it become a problem if it is used in large amount. Secondly, not sleeping and taking too many energy drinks can cause excessive exhaustion, making him predisposed to various illnesses. One doubt i have is , is he having some kind of psychiatric illness or drug abuse as well. There are lot many issues that can be answered only after examining him. Provided he is in ICU, i think he should be in good hands and should be out of it soon.
