Lantus Injecting Type 2 Diabetic. Taking Olmetec For BP And Lipidil Supra For Lipid Control. Body Gets Overheated. How To Control?
I am a Lantus injecting Type 2 Diabetic also taking Olmetec for blood pressure and Lipidil Supra for lipid control and I have begun to have an excessive overheating during exercise on land. I drink lots of water throughout the day and during class itself. I have been doing this for 13 months but the problem arose 4-6 weeks ago. What might I do?
Hi Dear
Since you are on insulin and also medications for blood pressure and deranged lipids it is very important for you to control your regular meals and lifestyle accordingly... Drinking lots of water may not be the solution to your problem but having a meal and routine regimen which can cool you down from inside and helps in regulation and well utilization of your body lipids, fats and protiens. Taking fruits like apple once a day and watermelon (3-4 small pieces) a day in the afternoon would play a role.. Then taking a bowl of milk with sheet flakes or an egg with sheet bread instead of heavy breakfast will also be helpful.. Taking five small meals like these in the whole day divided in a specific pattern would not only curb this problem but also help in controlling your blood sugars, lipids and blood pressures... Then having a 15-18 min walk after every major meal instead of a heavy exercise would also be great..
