Large Purple Bruise On Hip After Falling. Small Blood In Stool. Taking Plavix For Stent. Medical Attention Required?
I am a 66 year old female. I fell on my left hip yesterday and have a very large purple bruise (about 5 inches by 3 inches). I am on Plavix due to having a stent put in 7 months ago. I'm worried about the bruise since it seems to be getting larger. I also noticed a small amount of blood in my stool. I also have kidney stones in the right kidney. Should I see my doctor?

Bruise itself is not a cause of concern,if htere is nothing broken,especially if some body is on the blood thinners.It is very common to have small bruises on the body while on the blood thinners.
I am more concerned with the bleeding per rectum, which can be the sign of a significant problem.
Please get it checked.
