Large Red Mass At Inner Leg And Vaginal Area. History Of Having Septicemia From UTI. Is This Connected?
I have developed a large red mass at the junction of inner leg and vaginal area. There is no head to this red area. I have soaked in hot tub and used warm compresses. A small pimple had been there couple of days until today when it grew in size and became very painful. Feels like a boulder but really smaller than golf ball. My concern is a couple of years ago I developed septicemia from a uti I was unaware of, (I have fibro with constant back pain, so did not know I was deep into uti. Very serious, life threatening time). So, what can I continue to do until it either drains, or I get a dr. Appt for treatment
Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the boil, developed into a mass. It is to be incised and drained , and medicines used for healing of the infection. It could be by its own, or secondary to the scratch, or a bite. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. After incision it is to be dressed daily, for few days by keeping plug in the abscess, and changed daily. The septicaemia, and fibroids didn't have any relation with the abscess. Wishing for a quick and complete rwcovery
