Late Period, Spotting, Bleeding While Going To Bathroom. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Any Ideas?
I had a tubal ligation almost 12 years ago my periods have always been regular I'm over two weeks late took pregnancy test was neg. today I started spotting just a little this morning went to sleep when I woke up went to bathroom and its bright red blood and clots at first they were like almost black I took a pic of it at first now it's lighter but only really bleeding if I go to bathroom this is nowhere near a reg. period what do I do?
Menstrual pattern can under fluctuation depending on many things.
As your periods got delayed, endometrium might have over grown and that may be responsible for your excessive bleeding.
If the bleeding continues for longer period better to consult gynecologist and get examined.
You may need one ultrasound.
Depending on the findings the possible cause can be made out and treatment can be given.

Hello, Thanks for posting your query on health care magic. Since pregnancy test is negative and your tubes are tied, less likely you are pregnant. Your symptom suggest , you have menorrhagia.
