Late Periods. Having Brown Discharge Followed By Pink Discharge. HPT Negative. Still Be Pregnant?
Hi, I am 23 days late for menses. Throughout this period I have brown discharge which lasted just once when I wipe followed but light red pink, also lasted once when I wipe. Few days later the light red pink discharge came again and same just that moment and this goes on a few times. Have tested with the home pregnancy kits but came out negative. Could I still be pregnant?
causes of missed periods with spotting could be due to pregnancy, excess weight,
hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst.
I recommend you to get your blood tested for beta HCG. Increasing titres suggests pregnancy.
Once pregnancy is ruled out, get ultrasound pelvis to rule out ovarian cyst,
Thyroid profile to rule out thyroid problem.
Also get yourself examined by a Gynecologist for diagnosis and relevant tests.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
