Late Periods, Leg And Stomach Pain. Had Unprotected Sex, Took Pill. Should I Take A Home Pregnancy Test?

hi,i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 21 st of june then within 6 to 7 hours i had unwanted 72.my last period came on 10 june.it was due on 10 th of july but my periods didnt started yet.I am getting less amount of legs and stomach pain from yesterday.Is there a problem?Do i need to get a home pregnancy test done?Please help.

Hi thanks for the query.

Although, emergency contraceptives have very low failure rates, they don't protect from pregnancy in 100% cases. Your symptoms may be due to premenstrual period or due to early pregnancy. If you have missed your period, you can do home pregnancy test or you can get serum BETA HCG levels from some laboratory to rule out pregnancy with surity.
