Lean, Want To Gain Weight, On Large Meals And High Calorie Snacks But In Vain. What Can Be Done?

How can I gain weight? I am a 17 year old girl, 5 foot 7 inches and weigh about 107 lbs. I dont have an eating disorder or anything, I love eating but nothing seems to help me gain weight. My doctor says I will grow out of it but he said that 10 years ago and continues to tell me that now. I eat several large meals a day with high calorie snacks and I still cant gain weight. I am tired of being made fun of and I dont know what to do. Is there anything that will help me??

THANKS FOR CHOOSING HCM,
using medicine or protein powders for weight gain is not a healthy way
when you are able to take food ,then you need not depend on hormones or artificial supplements too

for weight gain take foods rich in proteins
actually a balanced diet which includes sufficent amounts of carbohydrates ,fats,and protiens is required for you to gain weight properly


take food in regular intervals
dont skip meals
sleep well
stay cool,keep yourself mentally and emotionally healthy

some exercises help you gain weight,go and talk to your gym coach
take healthy food and do regular exercise it increases your weight
take egg whites
foods rich in protiens like egg white,soya,cereals ,green vegetables,green leafy vegetables are recommended

you can also go for milk ,cheese,fish etc
remember weight gain is not important,staying fit is important see that you gain weight only till how much you should ,according to your height
your bmi is 16.5
you can gain 50 more pounds for you to reach a bmi of 25

being healthy is more important than looking good

there are two types of fat:white and brown
brown fat is seen in children,which turns to white fat in adults
but some adults may still retain brown fat in some parts of body around chest and neck so that they may not gain weight
in hyperthyroidism ,patients lose weight
so talk to your doctor and get your thyroid checked
check if are suffering from any other hormonal problems
your genes play a very important role in physical appearence too,so if your parents faced the same issues you also may have to face the same, irrespective of many efforts
