i am 29yrs female and i developed chest pain and pain on inhalation.Chest xray showed pleural effusion in left lung which doctor said was small in nature at the lower lobe .I had an esr of 85.He said after the tests that it could be pneumonia and i was admitted in the hospital and they gave me medications like fortum thrice intravenously and tavinic tab once a day .Now i feel the severe pain that i felt while lying down and inhaling is decreased.There is one more thing that i did not have any fever and cough was mild in nature with not much phlegm which used to be yellowish brown and now after 4 days is clear in color .After 3 days pain reduced but still I feel a sort of heaviness on my left chest while talking or lying down or sometimes while inhaling .I feel a cramp type pain on my back also but its tolerable in nature.The doctor auscultated and said that my chest is clearing and recovering.Its the 4th day of my treatment and wanted to know if it is normal to feel this way and whether it takes time for these symptoms to reduce.
