Leukocytes Found In Urine Test. Which Bacteria Is Behind UTI? Had Fever, Backache, Headache After Intercourse

my urine test shows 40-50 leukocytes. And ESR 60.. Ive been given a urine culture and sensitivity test further. I need to know what can this be? Which bacteria can be behind my uti . Apart from this i had high fever from three days, nausea,chills, backache ,headache and severe pain in lower left abdominal area and i also suffer from endometriosis. Am sexually active and all these symptoms started a day after intercourse. Both of us dont have stds.

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
Acute UTI .

Nature of the bacteria causing this infection will be revealed by urine culture only You have given urine samples for culture , the report of culture test will be available within 72 hours.

In the mean while please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
