Light Pink Discharge In The Morning During Urination. History Of Having Unprotected Sex, Missed Pills During Ovulation. Guide
I had my period about two weeks ago, I missed two pills during what I now know to be my ovulation time. My boyfriend and I did have Unprotected well you know. Anyway for the last three days the first pee of the morning, I wipe and there is a very light pale pink discharge but only at that time usually... what could this mean. FYI just had the panel std test etc and started my pills after being on Implanon two months ago. Never had this issue?
Hello Thanks for your query. Missing two pills at a stretch puts you at a risk of pregnancy if you have unprotected sex. This happening during the ovulatory period ups the chances of pregnancy even more. Mild spotting once in a while could be normal during the reproductive period of a woman's life. It could be due to a side effect of birth control pills. You need to rule out infections, pregnancy or related complications like miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries, endometrial hyperplasia - all these could cause slight spotting Make sure these reasons are ruled out, having a gynec exam if necessary. Take care.
