Light Pink Spot On The Stomach, Not Itchy Or Raised, Have Tendency Of Tanning Intensely. Sign Of Skin Cancer?

recently i have had a small about the size of a pea light pink spot on my stomach i do not tan i do not go out side much although i used to tan alot when i was in high school about seven years ago the spot is not scaly raised or itchy or bothersome in any way other then it is stressing me mentally i am concerned its skin cancer because i cant find anything online about a pink spot on the stomach it just appeared suddenly ani am a female 26 yrs of age two smal children who need me and no job no insurence please help!

Dear Kalliclark..Does recently suggest a week, month or..history am afraid needs to be specific. Having said that, if your particular 'pink spot' does not itch, bleed, or have any change in shape or sudden growth spurt, then you have nothing to fear. Try out a steroid-antifungal combination cream for 3-5 days & it should sort itself out. Ideally you should consult a dermatologist if it does not help & if you are constrained by insurance costs et al & have the capacity to upload an image of the region, you may want to click a photograph before treatment & 5 days later & consult mois online through this web portal by asking for a specific consult...would be much cheaper than any consult in your country & hopefully will be able to give you a cure. cheers..& Godspeed Dr Praveen Rodrigues MD, Dermatologist, Bangalore, India.
