Light Spotting After Intercourse, Abdominal Pain In 4 Wks Pregnant Who Has Ovarian Cysts Be Worrisome?

Hi
I have been told I have ovarian cysts that continue to grow and rupture on each ovary. I recently found out I was pregnant (4 weeks) and I started lightly spotting last night shortly after intercourse. I'm wondering if the bleeding and abdominal pain is from a cysts possibly bursting? Should I worry or just make an appointment with my OBGYN?

Hi. Abdominal pain can be due to cyst/follicle rupture, but spotting in pregnancy is not normal. It can be from cervical erosion or it may indicate some threat to pregnancy. So, you need to see your gynecologist and also get one scan done. Thanks.
