Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
From your Query i understood you are suffering from Acute gastroenteritis.
We have to avoid the Dehydration- one of the major complication of Gastroenteritis.
Gastroenteritis can be caused by viral , bacterial or parasites.
Recent history of travelling is very important in establishing the diagnosis of Gastroenteritis.
Stool culture and examination is essential to diagnose the causative agent.
Rehydration is the main goal of treatment in Gasteroenteritis.
Oral rehydration using Oral rehydration salts
Antiemetics like ondensetran
Antibiotics is essential onl if severe and culture shows causative organism.
Try to dehydration. if dehydration is severe. IV fluids are needed.

Hope this helps.

General & Family Physician Dr. Veera Raghava Rao Buddha.'s  Response
Hi, it appears to be having food poisoning, probably viral origin, it usually lasts for 4 days, in spite of any treatment, the only treatment available is to give infusions to prevent the dehydration. it it is bacterial it can be controlled by antibiotics, and as there are vomitings you need to have injections for controling vomitings and motions.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescrie injections of metaclopramide, cefotaxime sodium, once the vomitings are controlled i prescribe ofloxacin, omeprazole, domperidone, and loperamide when ever motions are there . I give infusion of fluids till the dehydration is controlled.
thank you.
