Low Blood Pressure, On Ventilator. Diagnosed As Chest Spasm. Arteries Clean. Why Did This Happen?
my friend is on a ventilator. He thought he was having a heart attack at first. In the emergency room his blood pressure was dropping very low. the doctors thought he had a block artery. An RN gave him a asprin and he vomited and was choking on it. I believe vomit got into his lung. Ever since that, he has been on a ventilator. At the same time, the DR. checked to see if his heart arteries were blocked. His heart arteries were clean. They determine he had a chest spasm, thinking it was a heart attack. He has been in the hospital for 5-days on a ventilator. The Drs try remove it, but his blood pressure rises. Does anyone have an answer to why that happens?
