Low Pressure With Sedation, To Take Test Is It Safe ?

Hello my blood pressure used to run between 110 to 120/over 65 or 70 something paulse around 63. now its running like 97 to 119 /over in the 55 and sometimes has often as low as 44paulse this is @ rest so is it safe for me to have sedation for a colonoscopy and i believe it's called an indascope fo rmy asphocus testing in a few hours God willing. i have microvalve prolapse and sleep apnea and H P of the lung .i also went in a coma before due to an reaction from godolinium. allergies to lasex,platex shell fish, lidocaine and benadryl with pepcid and a herb sparalina.propofol i believe they said was going to be used untill i looked it up and told the dr. i'm not safe with the percentage of 50/50 chances of running into a problem.PLEASE OFFER SOME ADVICE

Hi,

You shall be evaluated for a fitness before the actual procedure. Your BP does not suggest to avoid one as such. So that is not of major concern. Apart from BP, there are other parameters and will have to come to an opinion comprehensively.
