Lower Abdominal Pain, Watery Discharge, Unusual Period. Have Ovarian Cyst. Recommendations?

I have been experiencing some lower abdominal pain on my left and right sides where my ovaries are and in the middle of my lower stomach. I have been told i do have an ovarian cyst on my left ovary and for the past week i have been experiencing some white watery discharge. It has no odor or resemble anything like a yeast infection. Also about two weeks ago i had my period but it was brown spotting along with some streaks of blood which didn't seem like a normal period. What could this all mean?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a trans-vaginal sonogram immediately to exclude pelvic causes and pregnancy. Watery vaginal discharge can be seen around ovulation period and is a normal feature. The nature of the cyst has to be seen and the progress followed. Functional cysts can cause menstrual disturbances. Pelvic pain is a feature of ovarian cysts. Please see a specialist and get assessed properly. Hope this helps.
