Lower Back And Pelvic Pain, Constipation, No Relief On Passing Stools. Cure?
Lower back, side, pelvic pain suddenly started about 8 days ago. It is usually a constant ache, but began with some sharp pains as well. Nothing seems to change it. I am often constipated, but recent bowel movements did not change how I felt much. My doctor had me take an CT scan today, but not results are likely to come in until early next week. Your thoughts?
i think you should go for erect abdomen x ray to exclude any intestinal obstruction followed by ultrasound abdomen for any anomaly ...you should also do thyroid function test to confirm hypothyrodism...differntials what i am suggestings 1,intestinal obstruction 2,hypothrodism 3,drugs induced may be do above test and lets see what it is...
