Lower Back Problems, Leg Pain And Burning Sensation. Why Am I Getting Weak?
I have lower back problems for 2 years my feet feel like their going to explode, my legs hurt and my back constantly hurts with a burning sensation. Now I have a wide indention on the front of my right upper leg between my knee and my hip it is very visable to the eye, and approx. 1 inch wide and 4 inches wide. My leg muscles are getting weak, what could this be?
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. The description you have given suggests that you have lumbar disc prolapse with pressure over the exiting nerve roots resulting in pain and burning sensation down the leg. If the nerve roots gets too much compressed by the intervertebral disc, then the muscles supplied by that nerve will get atrophied resulting in indentation or trough like appearence. I suggest you to immediately undergo MRI scan for your lumbar spine so as to know the exact underlying cause and get it treated accordingly. Hope this helps.
