Lump In Inside Of Cheek. Painless, Roughness In Inside Of Cheek
I have a smallish lump on the inside of my cheek. It is located on the left side, near my front canine teeth and molars. It s not between my upper and lower jaw, it s right by my upper jaw. It is painless and the same color as everything else, it just sticks out. I also have roughness on the inside of my cheeks where my teeth meet. I don t smoke , or drink, or any of that really bad stuff.
Lump in the cheek can be due to cheek biting, allergic reactions , errupting wisdom tooth. A thorough clinical examination of the condition is required. Biopsy should be done to confirm the diagnosis. Also an OPG radiograph is required. Take lukewarm saline and antispetic mouthwash rinses. Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hi, Welcome to HCM forum, This small asymptomatic lump on inside of cheek can be due to cheek bite, trauma while tooth brushing, or due to infection in teeth. Sometimes when there is tooth infection then pus finds a way to discharge(Parulis). So don't worry ,consult dentist for clinical examination. Take care
Hello and welcome to HCM
The lump and rough area on the inner aspect of the cheek needs to be examinaed.
Its exact characterization can be done by a biopsy.
It is a procedure where is small bit of skin is taken and the condition of the epithelium & the underlying tissue is seen.
Such type of patches are seen in people who use tobaccoo especially chew it.
The irritation can also be caused by ill-fitting dentures.
So see if you have any of these predisposing factors.
If any of these are present, that cause should be removed and prevent further development of new such patches.

Lump In Inside Of Cheek. Painless, Roughness In Inside Of Cheek
Hello, Thanks for writing to us. Lump inside cheek may be due to deep caries or periodontal infection or traumatic injury of associated tooth. I would advice you to get a thorough clinical examination by a dentist. Pus has to be drained and tooth has to be root canal treated if necessary. Maintain oral care. Take amoxycillin to relieve underlying infection. Hope this suffices.
